It all starts on the highest point on Earth, a glacier perched atop a frozen mountain in Russia's rugged Ural Mountains, caressed by clouds. Thomb Cussler and his brother Jock live in this desolate, foreboding location, where they want to make it big in Russia's fledgling capitalist economy. They operate a hard-luck snowmobile tour company that sends thrill-seeking winter visitors to the mountains to enjoy the ultimate extreme winter adventure. An avalanche slammed down from the top of the ridge on one of these trips! Only Thom and Jock's quick-thinking and skillful driving rescues them from certain disaster. It's not such good news for the little hamlet of Dubroz, located far below. There is an avalanche warning (Source) and the terrified villagers barely have time to react before the avalanche falls down on top of them! Thoughts On Nature Unleashed Avalanche. Avalanche is a typical action movie... with an avalanche as the major danger! It's part of Nu Image Films' Nature Unleashed Series. Isn't that the clincher? There isn't much more to say about the plot structure in this film; the characters are simple, and the setting isn't based on reality; it was created solely to serve the plot. A lot like how avalanches behave. But, in the midst of it all, did they manage to make a decent film?
